Summary:

I was brought on to direct print concepts for both the retail and RTW lines. Partnering with VP of Design, Christopher Cox, our mission was to elevate the brand and broaden the consumer base to include a younger demographic. I riffed on classic nautical inspiration, nodding to original 1983 collection looks as well as incorporating conversational, vintage, and bold geometric prints. I teamed up with Directors in the Woven, Knits, Swim, Outerwear, and Bottoms categories for the retail line in addition to collaborating with Chris on the New York Fashion Week debut of the Black Sail Collection. The success of this launch was followed by additional runway shows as well as a contract with Lord & Taylor.
